STRUCTUUR KT45 PROFILE DETAILS
A Variety of standardised pan widths are available for ultimate flexibility.
We also offer customised pan widths to suite a project specific requirement.
The rib height of Structuur KT45 is as the name suggests, 45mm
Structuur KT45 can also be produced with double overlaps, underlaps and tapers. We can also fold sheets to eliminate the need for internal or external corner flashings.
- For roof cladding a minimum pitch of 2 degrees is required
- Minimum panel length of 1.2m
- Maximum panel lengths are limited only by transport requirements. Our machine can be mobilised to site to roll form longer panels. Call Structuur to discuss your requirements and options available.
Our standard Pan widths are:

SHEET SPAN CAPABILITY
Structuur KT45 can be installed in a variety of configurations, depending on the pan width, selected material or finish, and whether the application is for a roof or wall. Please refer to the table below for detailed span guidelines based on your specific project requirements.
Spanning Capability for all finishes except Aluminium or Soft Zinc

ALUMINIUM, SOFT ZINC, COPPER AND ADDITIONAL SOFT MATERIALS
When using Structuur KT45 with soft metals including but not limited to aluminium or soft zinc, all panels must be installed over a continuous CD grade structural plywood substrate. This substrate is required to provide adequate support, prevent oil canning, and ensure the long-term structural integrity of the cladding.
ADVANTAGES
- With square-set ribs, the KT45 profile offers a contemporary look unmatched by any metal façade system
- Incorporates a "clip relief" on each side of the sheet to stop screw heads from denting the pan of the sheet
- Structuur KT45 is our only profile that can be used on a roof spanning 900mm centres without the need for a ply substrate
- KT45 can also span up to 1200mm centres in a wall cladding application without the need for a ply substrate
- Horizontal, vertical or diagonal installation offers unrivalled design options
- Clean appearance offered by the concealed fixings
- Full customisation available using any pan width giving Architects, Designers and owners complete freedom

STRUCTUUR KT45 BASIC INSTALLATION SUMMARY
Structuur KT45 can be installed by individuals with the following skills:
- A basic knowledge of construction principles.
- The capability to use basic hand tools such as snips and other basic roofing tools.
- Knowledge of waterproofing principles and the ability to install watertight flashings.
Structuur KT45 is installed by fastening screws into a concealed clip on the underlap side of each panel using screws appropriate to the type of clip and the type of substrate being used.
To install each panel:
Clip the overlap onto the underlap and clip of the previously installed panel then continue installing clips over the underlap while fixing into the substrate. Ensure the substrate is straight, ideally within 2mm over the full length of the panel. Maintain panel alignment throughout installation. Provide and install watertight flashings as necessary. Structuur can provide flashing details on request.
Installation of KT45 as roof cladding:
Begin by weathering the tops of the panels and aligning the first panel into the gutter, ensuring the correct gutter overhang on both sides. Fix the panel to the substrate using the KT45 clips in accordance with Structuur’s recommended span tables. For best results, use a string line set at the correct distance into the gutter. Continue weathering and installing subsequent panels, ensuring each one remains parallel to the stringline.
Installation of KT45 as vertical wall cladding:
Install a foot mould flashing at the base of the wall, ensuring it remains level throughout. Use a laser level for accuracy. Plumb the first panel then fix it to the substrate using the KT45 clips in accordance with Structuur’s recommended span tables. Continue installing subsequent panels, ensuring each one remains plumb throughout the installation.
Installation of KT45 as horizontal wall cladding:
Install a foot mould flashing at the base of the wall, ensuring it remains level throughout. Use a laser level for accuracy. Install a starter flashing positioned at the specified distance above the foot mould. Clip the first panel over the starter flashing then fix it to the substrate using the KT45 clips in accordance with Structuur’s recommended span tables. Continue installing subsequent panels, ensuring each one remains level throughout the installation.
